FormAlign is a B2B business in the medical sector where they provide component based seating to their customers.
We were approached by the head of business development to help refresh their website. Their old website was outdated and didn’t have a user-centric approach. They wanted to update the website, keeping the user in mind whilst also creating a contemporary design.
Define
During the initial call with the client, we spoke about how their current website wasn’t functioning as to how they would like it too. It was also had an outdated look and feel and wasn’t speaking to their audience.
Ideate
Upon clarifying the goals of the website, which is to create a modern website with smooth animations and basic functionalities like having a product catalogue with categorising products, we searched for a website template that can house these functions. We decided to use a pre built theme for this website due to the clients small budget and they required the website to be delivered within 4 weeks.
Create
A selection of three templates were presented to the client. We narrowed it down to a template which fulfilled the clients brief. Before development, we recreated parts of the template within Adobe XD so we can make amendments and change some of the layouts within the pages to house all the information that was provided by the client. This is where low-fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes were created and sent to the client for approval.
Implement
Once the design was approved, we started to re-skin the website template and add in sections to some pages as we designed it on Adobe XD. We then tested the website on different devices and browsers to ensure that it was optimised.
